What is the Cash Control Unit?
Cash Control Unit 1.0 is a control unit compliant with the Swedish law 2007:592 and fulfills the requirements from 2009:2. It is – together with a compliant cash register – a certified system suitable for securely logging and storing transaction data for the Swedish tax authorities.
The Cash Control Unit is a Giesecke & Devrient (G&D) product, marketed and distributed by Giesecke & Devrient Secure Flash Solutions.
Certification for the Swedish market
The Cash Control Unit was certified with certificate no. C2Y-CU-002-01-01 on 26th November by Cert2You Europe AB.

Easy design-in
The Cash Control Unit is designed for an easy design-in to electronic cash registers. It uses the industry standard serial interface RS232 for maximum interoperability.
